It is a long one for those iron butts among you who will enjoy cruising on long stretch of freeways across the high desert. and are not afraid to ride on mountain and canyon roads among the best in SoCal: Angeles Crest Highway, the Angeles National Forest and Caliente Creek road.
Also on the menu, a taste of Kern County with a lunch stop near Lake Isabella, the Silver City ghost town and the Red Rock Canyon State park on our way back to the twisty mountains roads of the San Gabriel mountains.
At the end of the day, it will feel you were gone real far and for more than a day! The variety of the scenery is just astounding: alpine mountains, rolling hills, high desert and valleys, canyons and, settled between the Sierra way and the Walker pass, Lake Isabella, the south gate to Sequoia National Park!
