The City of Los Angeles was severely wounded back in January 2025. Please keep in your thoughts those who lost everything in the Pacific Palisades and the Eaton Canyon fires. These two communities have suffered immense losses, both material and sentimental. Some were famous and wealthy, most were not, and rebuilding their lives may take quite some time. The city and various private companies have moved quickly to clean up the debris and 6 months later, though the desolation is still visible, it shows work in progress. The Pacific Coast Highway at Malibu is again open for cruising and the ocean is as grandiose as ever. The summer season is always the best time to discover the less traveled roads of L.A and SoCal.
